A baby boy in Russia shocked medical staff in the delivery room by calling out "papa" just minutes after birth, followed by "mama" shortly after. The obstetrician who delivered the baby credited the phenomenon to prenatal education.

According to Russian media reports, 17-year-old (Bazhyeva) gave birth to her son (Stepan) at a hospital in Norilsk. Unexpectedly, the baby started saying "papa" within minutes of being born and then called out "mama" a few minutes later.

The obstetrician (Panova), who assisted in the delivery, confirmed that she personally heard Stepan speak. She stated that in her 23 years of practice in the delivery room, she had never witnessed such a situation.

She said: "Newborns typically cannot produce such complex syllables." She believes this is entirely due to prenatal education, explaining: "A fetus can learn while still in the womb. If the mother talks to the fetus, plays with it, and treats it as if it has already been born, the baby is more likely to be intelligent after birth."
