Professor De Waal from the Psychology Department at Emory University in the United States said that he tested a group of monkeys. They received rewards for correct actions. If rewards were given even when they didn't perform correctly, the monkeys would become very dissatisfied and refuse to continue with the tests. De Waal said that monkeys also understand the need to help each other. Chimpanzees will help other chimpanzees and also assist humans.
De Waal stated that based on the behavior of monkeys, the concepts of "right and wrong" and "correct and incorrect" likely evolved for "survival in natural selection" and are not unique moral traits of humans.
