Listeners who enjoy MP3s should take special note. A rare accident occurred in mainland China! A man in Guiyang was listening to his MP3 while sleeping and charging it at the same time. During a thunderstorm outside, the man was struck by lightning, resulting in a ruptured eardrum in his right ear and temporary deafness.

The man lifted his shirt to reveal a scar on his back that resembled a lightning bolt, startling the doctors. This man was struck by lightning while listening to his MP3 in his sleep, causing his whole body to tremble from the electric shock and resulting in temporary deafness in his right ear.

A mainland doctor said, "The entire right eardrum was congested. According to the patient's account, he was wearing headphones at the time, and there were obvious signs of capillary expansion and rupture on his back, which should have been caused by an electric shock."

The man was very puzzled by how such an accident could happen while he was sleeping at home. It turned out that his phone was being used as a music player while it was charging. Unexpectedly, a heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning struck him. A mainland resident said, "I felt a numbness in my body and couldn't stop shaking."

Fortunately, after emergency treatment, the man was out of danger. However, what was supposed to be a comfortable experience of listening to music while sleeping turned into a frightening incident, likely making the man think twice before doing it again.
