British geneticist "Jones" stated that humans will no longer evolve. From now on, they will forever live on Earth in their current form.
"Jones," a professor at the University of London, said that humans need not worry about evolving into extremely intelligent "superhumans" or "finger people" who can only operate TV remote controls. This is because the three conditions for evolution—natural selection, genetic mutation, and random evolution—no longer exist in the modern human world.
He explained that during the Ice Age, survival was difficult, and only the strong could secure food, leading humans to become increasingly robust. In modern times, food is easily accessible, and there is no need to struggle, so naturally, people do not grow stronger. Modern humans marry later, leading to a decline in sperm vitality, making mutations difficult, thus making evolution through genetic mutation impossible.
Additionally, humans now live closer together, and there are more large cities. The conditions for random evolution no longer exist. The chance of mutations occurring through close-relative marriages is also extremely slim. Therefore, "Jones" concluded that human evolution has come to an end.
