The latent period for colorectal cancer is more than 5 to 10 years, and the causative factors are not solely due to genetics or diet. This report mentions that the cause of this patient's condition is "unknown," which indicates as much. Various cancers are closely related to poor blood and qi circulation, mental stress, overwork, rising internal heat, irregular daily routines, frequent colds, and so on.
Western medicine treats cancer by cutting and poisoning. For decades, the techniques of killing have improved, but there has been little innovation. The recurrence rates after various cancer surgeries are quite high, indicating that cancer is not simply resolved by cutting it out. Of course, in the acute phase, cutting and poisoning may be necessary, but continuing this approach in the chronic phase leads to extreme physical weakness and a sharp decline in immunity, making it even harder to fight cancer cells. Recurrence and metastasis are inevitable. If no cancer is detected after surgery, it is because the current instruments are not precise enough to detect tiny lesions, not because they do not exist.
Healthy individuals produce cancer cells every day, to a greater or lesser extent, just as there are bad elements in any society. However, as long as the body's immune system is functioning normally and the pathways for blood and qi are unobstructed, those cancer cells will be detected and killed by the immune system.
The general principle for staying away from cancer: maintain smooth blood and qi circulation, avoid overwork, keep the essence and qi full, and the immune system will naturally function effectively, leaving cancer cells with no place to hide. "A door hinge never rusts, and flowing water never stagnates." A regular daily routine + a light diet + exercise is the simplest, most cost-effective, and effective method.
