Breaking news: The Executive Yuan's Consumer Protection Committee conducted ingredient inspections on chain convenience stores and well-known lunch box restaurants. The results revealed that two egg products tested positive for "florfenicol, thiamphenicol, and florfenicol amine," which are prohibited by law.
One of the products, supplied by Jinding Whole Egg Liquid Company, was delivered to FamilyMart convenience stores. The other, from Fangweixiang Food Company, was sold to China Steel, Walsin Technology, and several schools, including Fengshan Industrial & Commercial Vocational High School and Zhongshan Industrial & Commercial Vocational High School. The Consumer Protection Committee stated that local health authorities are tracking the sources and distribution of these products to ensure consumer safety.
