Uho Health Network April 27, 2014 Reporter Chen Chengzhang / Comprehensive Report

In an era where smartphones and tablets are booming, Wi-Fi has become a necessity in people's lives. However, while wireless networks offer great convenience—allowing instant access to information—recent reports from the U.S. revealed that hundreds of people are allergic to Wi-Fi, forcing them to build their own remote towns to survive. This highlights the potential hidden health risks of radio waves. To investigate whether Wi-Fi affects health, five teenage girls in the U.K. conducted a seed experiment and discovered that these invisible radio waves could actually prevent seeds from sprouting!

Wi-Fi Kills Seeds

According to the U.K.'s *Daily Mail*, the five girls initially suspected that mobile Wi-Fi might cause sleep disturbances, leading them to conduct an experiment using seeds. The experiment was divided into two groups: six petri dishes of plant seeds were placed in two separate rooms—one with no Wi-Fi signal and the other with Wi-Fi turned on 24/7.

After 12 days of observation, the results showed a stark difference. The seeds in the room without Wi-Fi sprouted healthily, with all six petri dishes thriving. In contrast, the seeds exposed to continuous Wi-Fi failed to sprout at all and were completely dead.

This study serves as a reminder that while no definitive research has yet proven the direct impact of radio waves on human health, turning off mobile Wi-Fi signals while sleeping may have positive benefits for both sleep quality and overall health.
