While Taiwan was ravaged by Typhoon Fung-wong, strange weather phenomena were observed worldwide. Besides hurricanes in the United States, several European countries experienced severe floods, and Sydney, Australia, saw its first snowfall in 172 years. The global climate has been quite abnormal. Meteorologists suggest that global warming and this year's so-called "La Niña" phenomenon have led to unusual weather patterns across the globe.

Global natural disasters are frequent. The powerful Hurricane Dolly wreaked havoc in New Mexico, USA, with mountainous areas receiving up to 150 millimeters of rain. Many vehicles were submerged, rivers swelled, and two residents were swept away. It is estimated that 60 homes were damaged and 300 residents were evacuated. Authorities even deployed helicopters to rescue trapped victims.

The situation in Europe is no better. In western and southern Germany, heavy rains caused frequent traffic accidents and severe waterlogging. Cars by the roadside were either stuck in mud or submerged, leading to the closure of many roads. Firefighters used pumps to drain water and clean up the disaster areas.

Romania also suffered from heavy rains, with residents enduring the hardships of flooding. Swollen rivers caused dikes to burst and damaged bridges and roads, forcing residents to evacuate with their belongings and livestock. Emergency relief center officials stated, "We have checked the situation in this area; this is a storm warning."

Ukraine experienced four consecutive days of heavy rain, resulting in at least 13 deaths, over 20,000 houses submerged, and 8,000 people evacuated from their homes. Meanwhile, in Sydney, Australia, a rare snowfall excited residents, as it had been 172 years since the last snowfall. A resident exclaimed, "So beautiful!"

Although it only lasted a few minutes, the snow brought joy to the children. Meteorologists indicate that global warming has caused abnormal changes in sea temperatures and ocean currents, leading to frequent La Niña phenomena. "Climate anomalies" are becoming the new normal.
