International Online News: According to a report by Hong Kong's Wen Wei Po citing Canada's The Globe and Mail, a 15-year-old girl in Quebec, Canada, died after kissing her boyfriend. The cause was her peanut allergy, as her boyfriend had just eaten a peanut butter sandwich, unknowingly exposing her to traces of peanut butter in his mouth, which led to immediate anaphylactic shock.

As reported by China News Network, Descosges went into anaphylactic shock and was rushed to the hospital. Despite doctors administering adrenaline, they were unable to save her, and the girl ultimately passed away.

Pediatric allergist Dr. Sigman noted that traces of peanut butter were still found on the girl’s tongue and lips. She emphasized that young people with food allergies should inform their friends to stay vigilant. "If they are dating someone, they must let the other person know to avoid consuming foods like peanuts."

In the U.S., approximately 100 people die from food allergies each year, with most cases linked to nuts. Many parents of children with food allergies say the constant vigilance to prevent exposure is stressful, but as their children enter adolescence, they often become less cautious.
