In today's world, whether it be doctors or patients, it is difficult to imagine the significant role that the "heart" of both the doctor and the patient plays in the healing process. Yet, "Night Talks at the Medical Mountain" demonstrates this ancient and simple principle throughout, often creating unexpected miracles. From this perspective, "Night Talks at the Medical Mountain" is a unique medical book, as it vividly presents the relationship between the human heart, disease, and its treatment through real and lively stories. After reading, it is believed to deeply touch the emotions within your heart.

This book is essentially a collection of stories about an Eastern traditional Chinese medicine practitioner practicing in Western countries. Both the publisher and the group of doctors seem to have a background in Falun Gong beliefs. Regardless of personal beliefs and the authenticity of the stories, what is recorded are mostly heartfelt and tearful tales, worthy of deep reflection by both practitioners and patients—what we seek is not mechanized, standardized, pseudo-scientific medicine that enforces equality at the expense of individuality. Instead, we desire a humane medicine that is flesh-and-blood, emotional, and rationally inquisitive.

Shen Yaozi said, "The sun bakes the earth, dissipating all things."
