Not all chest pain symptoms are caused by heart disease; sometimes they are due to digestive tract issues or musculoskeletal pain.

Dr. Li Xiangjun, an attending physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University's Siaogang Hospital, stated that if chest pain is caused by gastroesophageal diseases, specific treatment is required. For musculoskeletal pain or costochondritis, short-term use of anti-inflammatory drugs may provide relief, or it may resolve on its own.
