Shen Yuping, a beautiful female rider known as the "Lady Killer" in the heavy motorcycle community, went alone to test her bike on the Luoma Highway in Hsinchu on February 8. Unexpectedly, a car in front of her suddenly made a U-turn. Shen couldn’t brake in time and collided sideways with the vehicle, tragically losing her life due to a broken cervical spine. She became the first female rider in Taiwan to die while riding a heavy motorcycle over 550cc.

A challenging curve—a heavy motorcycle rider kneels down on one knee, executing a perfect turn. Only when she removes her helmet and poses in front of her bike for a photo does it become clear that the rider is the long-haired Shen Yuping. Now, however, her image can only be remembered through photographs.

On February 8, while riding her heavy motorcycle alone on the Luoma Highway in Hsinchu, Shen encountered a car that suddenly made a U-turn. She had no time to brake and collided directly with the car, resulting in a broken cervical spine. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she did not survive. The news spread quickly throughout the heavy motorcycle community.

Shen Yuping was the first female rider to die in an accident after the government allowed 550cc and above red-plate heavy motorcycles on the road. Many fellow riders found it hard to believe, as Shen was renowned for her exceptional cornering skills—bold, precise, and paired with sharp judgment. During track practice, she often outperformed male riders.

At 28, aside from working as a nurse, Shen loved riding her heavy motorcycle on trips. Her striking looks and graceful cornering earned her the nickname "Lady Killer" in the heavy motorcycle world.

Now, with this tragic accident, Li Bujing, a prominent figure in the heavy motorcycle community who taught Shen how to ride and was once the mentor of the late actor Ke Shouliang, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of his beloved student. Despite being a single mother raising a two-year-old child, Shen never lost her passion for heavy motorcycles. Online, fellow riders have poured out their condolences, hoping this beautiful "Lady Killer" of the heavy motorcycle world can ride happily in heaven.
