According to traditional Chinese medicine, allergic asthma is caused by the weakness of the spleen, lungs, and kidneys, and is formed by "phlegm retention internally and external pathogenic factors." The main principle of treatment is "treating the symptoms in acute cases and the root cause in chronic cases." Based on the etiology and symptoms, it is classified into eight types for treatment:

**Daily Life Precautions**:
Individuals with allergic asthma should engage in moderate exercise and pay attention to daily habits. Avoid or minimize consumption of allergenic foods such as seafood, milk, eggs, watermelon, and strawberries. Avoid raw and cold foods, and consume more functional lactic acid bacteria products. Pay attention to climate and temperature changes, keep warm, and prevent colds.
Traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application therapy can be used to prevent and treat asthma. Acupressure or moxibustion on Lingtai, Shenzhu, Fenglong, Hegu, Zusanli, and Wuzhu acupoints can improve constitution and enhance resistance.
During acute episodes, acupuncture can stimulate the sympathetic nerves and dilate the bronchi, or Western medicine can be used. During remission, acupuncture combined with Chinese herbal medicine can improve allergic asthma constitution.
