Modern people face high work pressure, often working overtime, which places a heavy burden on the body. A survey and analysis of the lifestyle habits of individuals with abnormal liver conditions revealed that 90% of respondents slept less than 8 hours, 92% worked overtime, and 70% had the habit of staying up late. Long-term irregular routines can easily lead to sleep problems, and poor lifestyle habits are one of the major causes of liver abnormalities, becoming a significant concern for modern workers.

Liver health is closely related to sleep. Prolonged poor sleep quality can easily lead to abnormal liver function, resulting in the body's inability to utilize nutrients from food. This can lead to symptoms such as weakened immunity, eye strain, dizziness, frequent colds, and allergic skin conditions. To maintain a healthy liver, one should start with a balanced diet and a regular routine. For example, the Taiwan Sleep Disorders Association recommends office workers use "Natural Sleep" essential oils to relax the brain, aid in falling asleep, improve overall sleep quality, and allow the liver to rest adequately.

Staying up late to work, frequent smoking and drinking, insufficient sleep, and high social engagement can all place a heavy burden on the liver and should be avoided as much as possible. Cultivating good lifestyle habits is the fundamental solution. Individuals with hepatitis B or C carriers or a family history of liver cancer are at high risk for liver cancer and should strive to adhere to the "golden 4-hour" sleep window—sleeping before the liver and gallbladder system's rest period from 11 PM to 3 AM—to reduce the risk of developing cancer.
