Dr. DeVita's report sparked significant discussion at the Japanese Cancer Society, even leading to the formation of a symposium to discuss it. The symposium, titled "Can Chemotherapy Treat Cancer?" was chaired by Mr. Shimooyama Masanori (National Cancer Center), who stated: "In clinical use of chemotherapy, initially, the drugs are effective and can shrink tumors, but then they become ineffective, leading to worsening cancer or recurrence. This is widely recognized."
As mentioned earlier, in another section of the 3,000-page report by the National Cancer Institute, it was noted that after chemotherapy treatment, in addition to the original cancer, new cancers can emerge. Since chemotherapy drugs themselves are derivatives of petroleum and are highly carcinogenic, the formation of new cancers is inevitable. The report stated: "Patients treated for breast cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and Hodgkin's disease experienced an increase in leukemia. Those treated for breast cancer and multiple myeloma saw an increase in bladder cancer. For leukemia patients, lung cancer increased, and for ovarian cancer patients, colon cancer increased."
Chemotherapy actually shortens patients' lifespans.
The U.S. Congress OTA report cited experimental studies conducted by nearly 20 university medical research institutions, including New York University, the University of Chicago, and Einstein University. From January 1984 to July 1985, 743 patients with stage IV lung cancer were studied. The experiment compared the anti-tumor effects, side effects, and patient survival periods of chemotherapy. In terms of survival periods, the first group averaged 22.7 weeks, while the third group averaged 31.7 weeks.The experimental report indicates that in the first group, although the highest tumor response rate (tumor shrinkage) was observed, the survival period was very short. In contrast, the third group showed a low tumor response rate but had a longer survival period. Drugs that show greater effectiveness in shrinking tumors tend to have stronger side effects and shorter survival periods. This experiment fully illustrates the meaning that "anti-tumor effects are not necessarily beneficial to patients." Up to now, traditional medicine has regarded tumor size as an indicator of treatment effectiveness, believing that tumor shrinkage signifies progress in treatment or that surgical removal of the tumor constitutes the entirety of cancer treatment. This medical perspective can be described as seeing the trees but not the forest. Additionally, the experimental report also points out: "Patients who did not receive any anticancer drugs or radiation therapy at all had longer survival periods." This experiment also proves the words of several medical masters, including the Greek medical sage Hippocrates: "Cancer patients should not aggressively attack the tumor, as this can lead to a longer life."

Although there may be short-term pain relief immediately after radiation, the irradiated tissues suffer significant damage, making the treatment not worth the cost. Pain often intensifies soon after.
In 1946, the American Cancer Society published a 20-page report by five distinguished medical researchers: "X-rays and gamma rays may cause malignant bone tumors (a particularly painful form of cancer)." Therefore, based on evidence, it can be concluded that X-rays and radium should not be used in cancer treatment. These two radiation therapies represent a focus on symptoms while ignoring the root cause. Radiation therapy weakens the body, reduces resistance, and, if the radiation is too strong, can even cause death. Many cancer patients die from excessive radiation or surgery. Their deaths are facilitated by functional or anatomical changes caused by the treatment.
Dr. C. Moerman, M.D., from the United States, believes that radiation destroys both normal and cancerous cells, disrupts the activity of vitamins C and B, and accelerates the deterioration of metabolic functions. He views radiation therapy as entirely without merit.In the 1988 edition of "Cancer Etiology," a 3,000-page report by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in the United States, it was stated: "Investigations of cervical cancer patients who received radiation found that even minimal doses of radiation could cause leukemia, as well as cancers of the rectum and vagina. High doses of radiation in the thousands of rads could also lead to bladder cancer, bone cancer, cervical cancer, and lymphoma. Radiation therapy for cervical cancer can also damage the adrenal glands, leading to hormonal imbalances."
The director of the National Cancer Institute confirmed—chemotherapy cannot cure cancer.
Chemotherapy is the third most important tool in conventional medicine for treating cancer. Conventional medicine believes that cancer cells are the cause of cancer, not the result, thus focusing solely on targeting cancer cells. Therefore, its cancer treatment theory does not go beyond Pasteur's "Germ Theory of Disease." Whether it is truly effective, I think everyone knows. However, according to Dr. DeVita, the director of the National Cancer Institute, during his testimony before the Senate in 1985: "It has been theoretically confirmed from a molecular biology perspective that chemotherapy cannot cure cancer. This is a great regret for us. With the advancement of molecular biology, even the genetic material within cells is no longer hidden. When cancer cells encounter chemotherapy drugs, they manipulate their own genetic material to render the drugs ineffective." This is similar to how using pesticides to kill pests leads to the emergence of new pest species. Cancer cells can also develop drug resistance. This report aligns with the conclusions discussed by the Japanese Cancer Society. Dr. DeVita's report sparked significant discussion at the Japanese Cancer Society, even leading to the formation of a symposium to discuss it. The symposium, titled "Can Chemotherapy Treat Cancer?" was chaired by Mr. Shimooyama Masanori (National Cancer Center), who stated: "In clinical use of chemotherapy, initially, the drugs are effective and can shrink tumors, but then they become ineffective, leading to worsening cancer or recurrence. This is widely recognized."
As mentioned earlier, in another section of the 3,000-page report by the National Cancer Institute, it was noted that after chemotherapy treatment, in addition to the original cancer, new cancers can emerge. Since chemotherapy drugs themselves are derivatives of petroleum and are highly carcinogenic, the formation of new cancers is inevitable. The report stated: "Patients treated for breast cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and Hodgkin's disease experienced an increase in leukemia. Those treated for breast cancer and multiple myeloma saw an increase in bladder cancer. For leukemia patients, lung cancer increased, and for ovarian cancer patients, colon cancer increased."
Chemotherapy actually shortens patients' lifespans.
The U.S. Congress OTA report cited experimental studies conducted by nearly 20 university medical research institutions, including New York University, the University of Chicago, and Einstein University. From January 1984 to July 1985, 743 patients with stage IV lung cancer were studied. The experiment compared the anti-tumor effects, side effects, and patient survival periods of chemotherapy. In terms of anti-tumor effects, the highest effectiveness was seen in the first group, which received three doses, with a tumor shrinkage rate of 30%. The second group, which received two doses, had a tumor shrinkage rate of 13%, while the group receiving only one dose had a shrinkage rate of just 9%. However, the experiment yielded unexpected and shocking results. The first and second groups experienced severe side effects, leading to a significant reduction in white blood cells and impaired hematopoietic function. Due to the inability to regenerate blood cells, some patients died within weeks of receiving the drugs. In terms of survival periods, the first group averaged 22.7 weeks, while the third group averaged 31.7 weeks.The experimental report indicates that in the first group, although the highest tumor response rate (tumor shrinkage) was observed, the survival period was very short. In contrast, the third group showed a low tumor response rate but had a longer survival period. Drugs that show greater effectiveness in shrinking tumors tend to have stronger side effects and shorter survival periods. This experiment fully illustrates the meaning that "anti-tumor effects are not necessarily beneficial to patients." Up to now, traditional medicine has regarded tumor size as an indicator of treatment effectiveness, believing that tumor shrinkage signifies progress in treatment or that surgical removal of the tumor constitutes the entirety of cancer treatment. This medical perspective can be described as seeing the trees but not the forest. Additionally, the experimental report also points out: "Patients who did not receive any anticancer drugs or radiation therapy at all had longer survival periods." This experiment also proves the words of several medical masters, including the Greek medical sage Hippocrates: "Cancer patients should not aggressively attack the tumor, as this can lead to a longer life."
Chemotherapy damages the immune system, which is the human survival license. However, considering the strong side effects of chemical drugs, which can cause liver damage, lung damage, kidney damage, nerve damage, and a decrease in blood cells, it is inevitable and common sense that these would shorten the patient's survival period. This is the current state of cancer medical care.

This is a middle-aged Hakka man living in Miaoli County, whose occupation is in ceramics. He accidentally discovered a small hard lump on his neck and was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. However, his daily life and work routine were no different from a normal person's, but the tragic fate he suffered is unforgettable to me. After surgery at Taichung Veterans General Hospital, doctors used skin from his tongue to repair the surgical wound, leaving him unable to eat. His left cheek was burned by radiation thirty times, causing severe calcification of the left cheekbone, and he couldn't open his mouth to drink water. Therefore, the doctors made a hole in his stomach and used a soft tube to feed him... The first time I entered the ward to see him, I almost vomited because part of his stomach acid was leaking from the side of his stomach, filling the entire ward with its smell. Before treatment, he weighed 58 kilograms, but after five months of treatment, his weight dropped to 33 kilograms, leaving him skin and bones. In the ward were his wife and two young sons. We only had simple conversations, and the rest of the time we were silent in the ward. Watching him lying on the hospital bed, barely alive, I didn't know what comforting words to say. His wife, with tears in her eyes, said to me, "My husband was in good health before, and we hadn't used a single square on his health insurance card in recent years. If everyone's memory serves, they should remember the former Minister of Education, Mr. Lin Qingjiang. He previously suffered from a brain tumor and received cobalt radiation treatment at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. As a result, his hands would involuntarily tremble after treatment, and he felt it was detrimental to his image when he went to the Legislative Yuan for questioning, so he resigned from his position as Minister of Education. It is well known that using cobalt radiation treatment can damage the central nervous system and accelerate metabolic deterioration. However, Veterans General Hospital believed that the most effective method was cobalt radiation treatment. In less than a year, this humble minister passed away. Radiation Case Four
This is about Ms. Peng, who lived halfway up the mountain in Shilin, Waishuangxi, and worked in the banking sector. She had her entire breast removed due to breast cancer, but during the surgery, her nerves were damaged, rendering her right hand unable to hold objects or write, leaving her completely disabled, with persistent swelling in her hand. The surgical wound on her breast never fully healed, and doctors administered chemotherapy, which led to the wound festering. They then took skin from her buttocks to graft onto the breast wound, which failed, leaving both wounds unhealed. She walked with a limp, like a disabled person.
